I will not say uncle! I will dye my hair and face the world!
Have you ever had a month so terrible, so truly awful and wretched that the old adage "bad things come in threes" would have been a blessed relief? This past month has been one of those for me. One thing has happened after the next in such rapid-fire succession that I have felt shaken down, beaten up, and then backed up over. Well, no more! For some reason, doing drastic things to my hair has been an outlet for nasty feelings, excitement, and even boredom. I have decided to dye my hair auburn. For anyone who would like to see what I am going off of, look at www.lunaticfringesalon.com. The first picture that pops up has the color I want. Bold? Yes. Different? Yes. Able to help me forget the end of January and February 2010? Hopefully. I'll take pictures. :)

Hello!!! I'm excited you have a blog now. It's so much fun to be able to look back and see all the stuff you post!! Plus I will be able to see all the fun things you get to do out in PA!! Did you get the invite for my blog? Let me know if not!! Also I am excited to see your hair. When is your cruise? Maybe wait until after to do it because the Caribbean sun will probably bleach it out a ton!!
ReplyDeleteI did get your invite. I love your blog--I'm going to try to do mine like yours. I definitely need to take a lot more pictures than I do . . . That is a really good point about dyeing my hair. The cruise is from this Monday-Friday and I'm supposed to get my hair done tomorrow! Maybe I'll just wear a big hat :)
ReplyDeleteWhen terrible things happen, a major alteration in the "do" is the only proper response. When I was Dear-Janed I chopped and bleached and the world was a better place.
